Pirate Party

I know Evan and Nathan had a great time at Owen's pirate birthday party earlier this year! My friend Niko also had a pirate party this weekend as he turned 4. Here I am taking a break from all the activities to enjoy a "pirate snack".

We all looked on as Niko opened the treasure map that lead us to a hidden treasure chest.

I got several swings at the pinata with this pirate sword!

The girls loved helping with Karen!

We had fun playing "pin-the-treasure-chest on the X".  We had blind folds on earlier.

I had a blast wearing my pirate outfit and saying "Arrrggghh" the rest of the afternoon.

2 months today!

Karen did great at her 2 month appointment today - even with her immunization shots! She weighed 11 lbs. 2 oz (39th percentile) and is 22.5 inches long (34th percentile).

Farewell to Seniors

 We had our end-of-the-season track & field banquet tonight and I helped hand out the farewell gifts to our graduating seniors. It was a special night honoring and thanking the athletes for all their hard work!

Moon Cookies

 I checked out a really fun book at the library this week about animals predicting what the moon is made out of. They conclude it is a BIG sugar cookie up in the sky! My mommy and I had to try out the Sugar Cookie Moon Recipe in the back of the book. They were VERY yummy and my Papa agreed!
