HOLDEN IS HERE! Welcome little guy!

HOLDEN STONE BREWER arrived at 12:05 p.m. Montana time today (on his due date and Groundhog Day), a healthy 8 lb., 8 oz., and 22 inches long. Mom was a trooper to say the least.

His parents are absolutely overjoyed and so is everybody else (this is Auntie Janie here as fill-in blogger until the new family gets home and settled ... more pictures to follow soon!). ... A couple of cute comments from the new, proud mom and dad about their handsome little fella.

"This is the most amazing thing I've ever experienced in my life," happy papa Jim told The Associated Press in an emotional phone interview about an hour after Holden entered the world. "He came out screaming and pooping." :-) (After everything this little guy went through, who could blame him, right?).

Said the beautiful, thrilled new mama: "This is so special. He's got a lot of curly hair. I'm not going to know how to tame it, but little Evan has curly hair, so I'll ask Holly. Jim has curly hair and we cut it short. He has a button nose and big blue eyes like his daddy."

No word yet on when Holden will go on his first run (in the stroller to start, of course). We're guessing by the weekend!
