Gardening Project
Thanks Grandma D for sending me all the supplies for this fun gardening project. My "Howdy Neighbor" farmers and I worked hard this morning preparing the soil and planting the seeds. We can't wait to see if we can really grow some lettuce, spinach and flowers!
Long Jump World Record Holder
We're so proud of our Papa as he organized an outreach event for the athletic ministry he leads at Concordia University with Mike Powell sharing his testimony. Powell is the current world record holder in the men's long jump with a mark of 29 feet and 4.5 inches!

Patriotic Fireman

Spiderman Hair!
Every night after my bath, I like to make my hair crazy and then look in the mirror. I call it my "Spiderman Hair"!
Karen is 6 weeks!
I turned 6 weeks today! I don't see what the big deal about tummy time is...to my parents amazement, I don't seem to mind spending lots of play time on my tummy...I usually just find my thumb to suck on and enjoy the view from this angle.
Wheels on the bus go round & round
I had fun singing all the verses of 'Wheels on the Bus' yesterday at the park while driving my own school bus!

Joshua Tree National Park
We had some great adventures at Joshua Tree National Park this past Easter weekend (exploring numerous trails, enjoying the desert wildlife and climbing all sorts of stacked boulders/rocks). The twisted, spiky trees looked like they were straight out of a Dr. Seuss book!
Easter Highlights
I had so much fun coloring Easter eggs last week. I asked my parents to hide them over and over again for me to find!
Our family was blessed to share Easter dinner with our cousins in La Quinta, CA - the Kerr family.
