Mommy's Felt Book

I'm learning new things like how to pull a zipper, how to untie a shoe, how to put things in pockets, how to use buttons, etc. with this old felt book that was made for my mommy 35 years ago.

Tarzan and Jane

My favorite part about reading this book is beating my fists on my chest and making the "Tarzan call" (in the picture below). The other day when my mommy mentioned Jane's name...I associated it with this book and I made the "Tarzan Sound" while beating my chest...so Emma, I can't wait to show your mommy "her call"!

Old McDonald on a "hill"

I thought it would be even more fun to play with my red barn up on this laundry basket. When my mommy asked me "Are you Old McDonald on a hill?" I belted out E-I-E-I-O!!

Our Kenyan Visitor

Benard is from Kenya but trains in Santa Fe, New Mexico for part of the year. He came to stay with us for 4 days and run in a big local road race in Great Falls.

I played "ball" with Benard.

It was snowing on race day but that didn't stop record numbers of participants (3,500 runners).

My mama even jumped in the 5 mile race! My papa and I cheered for her all over the course.

We hope to visit Benard in Kenya someday!

Mastering the Baton Exchange

Missoula Get-Away

There is still snow in the mountains for our adventure runs but that doesn't stop my parents.

Taking a break on the way to Missoula to stretch out my legs in the back of our truck.

We saw some Bighorn Sheep on the way.

I got to stay up way past my bedtime for a walk along the river. I'm enjoying the view up here!

My Papa explained I have some Native American heritage in my blood.

We made sure to find a hotel with an indoor pool. (Don't worry Evan, I'm still practicing my strokes to beat Uncle Moo's record!)

I spent the whole day Saturday cheering on the Argos at the meet hosted by the University of Montana. Ander ran so well he wanted to toss me into the air a few times.
