Fun personality at 18 months!

 Perhaps it's because I have an older brother modeling this behavior...but I LOVE to make people laugh, role-play, and be silly!

Slip 'N Slide Fun

 With our recent move from a condo to a home, we have felt very blessed to do all sorts of outdoor activities in our own backyard. A favorite has been the slip n' slide. This series of pictures was our first attempt at it.

 Papa was prepared to swim in this lake...but my sister and I didn't have our swimming suits with us at the time. That didn't stop us from getting in!

Visiting Grandpa Mike and Grandma Donna

 On our way back from WA this summer, we had a great time in the Bay Area visiting our grandparents.

 Grandma Donna recently hurt her ankle and has used this wheelchair during her rehab. My sister and I got a kick out of riding her "cool wheels"!!

 Grandma Donna also let me borrow her sun hat at the park!

 A highlight was driving out to the coast to visit the Monterey Aquarium.

 As you see by our expressions...we loved it!!

 There were so many awesome touch pools.

More OR Coast and Lakeside Camping

 On our way back south during our road trip this summer, we made some more great memories along the OR Coast and explored some beautiful lakes while camping near Shasta Lake in northern CA.

 Climbing rocks was a highlight.

 A big, wet, saggy diaper didn't slow me down.

 If you're going to climb the rocks, you might as well have fun jumping off them too!

On a final hike around this lake, Karen actually found "Ba" (Holden's favorite stuffed animal) along the trail. We didn't realize we had dropped him on an earlier walk.
