Treasure Maps

My papa and I had so much fun looking for hidden treasures and secret clues all over the house last night using 3 different treasure maps! X marks the spot!

 

Kids Rock

Kids Rock Park is inspired and focused around educating children and families about geology/ecology with realy fun climbing rocks, bridges, caves, fossils, etc.

Farm and Food Lab

We had a hands-on gardening experience today at a local farm & food lab featuring themed planting areas with fruits, flowers, veggies and herbs. Our favorite was the "Pizza and Spaghetti Garden" showing how ingredients and toppings look before being made into sauce.

Another highlight was learning how worms eat food scraps to produce nutrient-rich compost for growing plants. I love worms!

Hey, batter, batter, swing!

I had so much fun playing indoor baseball this evening after dinner! I ran all the bases after every hit, so my homeruns were too many to count!

Animal Pancakes

This morning I helped my mommy make some yummy animal pancakes. Thanks Grandma Donna for the creative monkey, pig and cat baking pans. I admired my breakfast longer than usual before digging in!

 

Learning Shapes and Colors

Being only 11 weeks old doesn't stop my brother from trying to teach me new things. This morning he put different shapes on my tummy and told me what color and shape it was. He had 4 different shapes balanced on my tummy at one time...but our mommy missed that picture.

Sharing the day with my mama's longtime friends Mary, Janie and Nicole!

Taking a mid-day nap, my mama's friends babysat my sister and me so my parents could go on the Haunted House Ride by themselves! 

Minutes before we were planning to leave the park, I spotted Mickey and Minnie coming right for us on Main Street. We were at the front of the line to get a picture with them (instead of waiting the usual 45 minutes to get a picture/autograph).

Strawberry Tour

I had so much fun today taking a guided wagon ride around a local farm. I learned about different organic farming techniques and tasted all sorts of different fruits and veggies. At the last stop we got to pick and eat our very own strawberries! Yum!
