Bike Ride to the Capitol Building

We went on a beautiful bike ride from Tumwater Historical Park, around the lake, and to the capitol building last week.

Field Trip to Burfoot Park

Karen (and Mama's) kindergarten class had a picnic lunch, explored, and went on a hike at Burfoot Park last Friday.

Every kindergarten student has an 8th grade buddy they've been assigned to all school year. The 8th grade buddies surprised the kinder students by joining them on the field trip.
Karen and her buddy, Anna, loved exploring the shells, sand dollars, and little crabs along the shore! We'll miss Anna when she graduates from Cornerstone this weekend and goes to high school next fall.

New Baby Chicks!

Holden and Karen have named our chicks...Pepper, Mrs. T, Oreo, Sunny, Hershey, George Jr, and Martha.
It's a little early to be 100% sure but Papa predicts we have 6 hens and 1 rooster.

Spring Garden Helpers!

Good Morning, Elk!

Mama woke up for her run yesterday morning to find at least 50 elk on our property. She got as close as she could without scaring them to take a few pictures.

Science Fair

My sister and I worked together on our science fair project this year.

Merlin

Our pet frog, Merlin, is getting so big. We feed him live crickets every week.
