12 Weeks Old

I'm ready for my next adventure with my "GO GO GO" hat from Auntie Teddy and Uncle Kevin!

I love my new "Montana outfit" from Auntie Amy and Uncle Micah!

My mommy pushed me in the BOB jogging stroller this weekend in my first road race - the 5 mile Ice Breaker. It was nice of my Papa to come back and run with us across the finish line! He was one of the top finishers overall!

I love when mommy reads me "Cat in the Hat" from Grandpa Mike and Grandma Donna.

Another favorite book of mine is Brown Bear Brown Bear, What do you See?

Buffalo Jump Interpretive Center

Holden, Grandma D, and Rachel spent Saturday afternoon at the First People's Buffalo Jump in Ulm while Jim was in South Dakota at a track meet.

11 Weeks Old

Holden had fun in the stands this weekend at a University of Montana Track Meet and used Grandma D's hat to shade him from the sun!

This goat followed Jim the last 2 miles of his run in the mountains outside of Dearborn, MT on Sunday. Rachel, Grandma D, and Holden had some good laughs watching Jim and his new "running partner"!

Who says Holden will just be a runner? He may be an accomplished pianist!? (He loves to "tickle the ivory")

Or a dancer!? (He loves to "move and groove")

Or maybe an author?! (He loves storytime!)

Safari Quilt

Holden loves his beautiful new Safari Quilt made by Grandma Karen Castano. Thank you so much Karen! He's also enjoying hanging out with his new stuffed Lion from Auntie Teddy!

Fun at 9 Weeks!

Wow! I love flying!

I also love jumping, doing squats, and playing with Papa!

Am I standing on my own yet? Or is Grandma D helping a little?!

Boy am I tired after another hard day of play!

Snow Geese Adventure

We visited Freeze Out Lake near the Rocky Mountain Front this weekend. Every year hundreds of thousands of Snow Geese land here on their way north.

Jim, Holden, and Rachel enjoy a beautiful day along Freeze Out Lake with Grandma D.

Jim and Holden see that there are too many Snow Geese to count on the lake!

We took Holden to his first restaurant after visiting Freeze Out Lake - called the Log Cabin Cafe in Choteau, MT.

Holden wore his papa's goggles today so he thinks he's ready to try swimming!


We didn't make it to the pool today but Holden loves taking his bath. Thanks Megan for the little tub!
