First Steps!

Yesterday I took my first 2 steps at UGF and this morning I took 5 more consecutive steps out at our fire pit. My parents haven't captured it on video yet but they did get this picture right before my steps!

Green Eggs Gobbler

I love Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss...so as you can imagine I also love eating green eggs (packed with spinach and shredded zucchini) for breakfast!

Nervous about that first step

I can stand up without holding onto anything (notice my nice wide base)...but as my expression shows, I'm still a little nervous about taking that first step towards furniture or my parents.

In Memory of Cody Bear

The first day my parents met on a run along North Lake Whatcom, my papa told my mommy all about the lab he intended to get for his mom. Cody Bear became a very special part of our family. My Grandma D had Cody trained for search and rescue. He was always a loving and playful dog! He will be greatly missed. (October 22nd, 1999 - March 20, 2011)

Waiting patiently for spring

I have this perplexed look because I keep waking up to all this "white stuff"outside. When do I get to play outside without a hat, gloves, and 3 layers on?

Formal Introduction

We had junior Dan Lantz and senior Cullen Cantwell over for a home-cooked elk steak dinner last night and I introduced them to my friend Howdy Neighbor.

These two little farmers are my favorite toys. I call them "Nee" and "Nee Nee". They eat with me, sleep with me, go in the car with me, etc. I did drop them here when it was time to clap to the song "If you're happy and you know it...clap your hands"!

I was really brave going down the tunnel slide...I loved it!

I also loved feeding all the ducks and geese on the frozen pond!

Not school-bound yet!

I'm not in a hurry to go to school yet, but my parents and I had fun visiting the local Ulm School (grades K - 8th) this weekend.

Welcome home papa

I'm so glad my papa is home from indoor track nationals last week. I've been following him around the house everywhere he goes!

Argo All American

I wore my Argo sweatshirt today to cheer on sophomore Travis Price who finished top 6 in the nation at the NAIA National Indoor Track and Field Meet for the 800 meters. It was my Papa's first All-American Athlete here at UGF! Yeah!! He flies home from Ohio tomorrow night...can't wait to see him!

Learning to use crayons

Every coloring session is always such a DILEMMA - should I taste the crayon or should I use it on the paper? (Thank goodness they're non-toxic!)
