Slimy Pumpkin Introduction

I've never felt the insides of a pumpkin before...I was a little hesitant at first.

Then I got up the courage to stick both my hands inside.

Ooooohhh...now what...this is very cold and slimy....??

Once I got the hang of it...I helped dig out most of the inside.

Having a spoon was helpful...but it was still very stringy.

Papa and I proudly showed off our finished pumpkin!

Concordia Cross-Country

I love being the mascot for the Concordia cross-country team. We had our last regular season race this weekend. We have our conference championship meet in two weeks and nationals in 4 weeks. One of my newest phrases this week is "Go Eagles"!

I'm really proud of my papa...here he is giving the women's team a pep talk before their race!

Older than dirt?

The team helped my mommy and me throw a surprise for my papa's 40th birthday. According to grandma D...twenty years ago he threw a party for her 40th that also included black balloons, black streamers, and a sign reading "Older than dirt".

Fire Station Open House

I stayed at the fire station over an hour today requesting to drive every truck several times!

Notice my fire truck book in hand as I watched a fire fighter climb to the top of a 100 foot ladder above the truck.

I even appreciated all the smaller emergency vehicles including this utility fire truck.

Dinner Time Entertainer

More gymnastics class!

I impressed my papa with how long I could hang from the high bar!

Then I impressed him when I "stuck this landing"!

We ended class with some parachute fun!

Autumn Leaf Scavenger Hunt

My mommy and I went on a scavenger hunt for little leaves at my Explorer's Class this week.

We each had a little orange bag to fill with the leaves we found. After the scavenger hunt, we decorated our bags with the leaves.

My teacher, Miss Reyna, gave me a stamp on my hand when I showed her my finished autumn bag.

Baby Brewer #2

I'd like to introduce my little sibling. My parents chose to wait on finding out the gender again this time; but it was exciting to see my baby brother/sister moving all around and even opening his/her mouth as you can see in this picture! My mommy's due date is February 26th.

Fearless Feeder at the Petting Zoo

All Aboard!

I took my first train ride ever on the Irvine Park Railroad this weekend. For much of the way home I was calling out..."choo choo"!
