Enough for a Snowball Fight!

It was just a dusting, but we were still SUPER EXCITED to play in the snow on Saturday. I had a blast throwing snowballs at Papa! 

Karen was very intrigued by the white stuff all over the back yard.

Even though we told her not to eat the snow...she couldn't resist a taste.

We made amends at the conclusion of our snowball fight!

We listened to the radio on Sunday as the Seahawks defeated the Cardinals. Karen celebrated with lots of smiles and wearing Papa's hat for most of the afternoon!

Papa's Return!!

We were SUPER EXCITED to see Papa Sunday night after he returned from a 4-day trip to Montana for his XC team's NCAA West Regional Meet. He brought us these "coaching favors" from the meet!

Special Reunion With Friends!

Mama had a wonderful afternoon catching up with her longtime friends, Holly and Megan. We also had a great time playing with Nathan, Evan, Abby, and Kate (reading books, eating Holly's yummy homemade soups, decorating gingerbread cookies, and playing outside)!

Fun Project With Papa

We had so much fun with this little two-day project making a wooden ambulance with Papa.

 I really like how the sides move up and down to put "injured" figurines inside. I'm so proud of it....I keep it on the headboard above my bed.

Buddies

After Papa returned from a LONG day of work....I followed him everywhere, talked his ear off, had him read me tons of books, and then fell asleep right on his shoulder. Papa continued to get some work done and didn't seem to mind having his little buddy still on his shoulder.

Folklore Night at the Library

The Tumwater Library hosted an evening of crafts, story-telling, dancing, games, face painting, and scavenger hunts. We came dressed as a gnome and a fairy for all the activities!

Veteran's Day Get-Away to Seattle Aquarium

First Running Race

We watch our parents and the Saints run lots of miles, so my sister and I were SUPER EXCITED to run in a kid's/family one mile this weekend after mama raced in a 5K.

Once I finished, Papa and I went back to cheer on Karen. She did very well! Mama carried her for part of the race, but she ran the last 1/4 mile all on her own.

Aquatic Themed Costumes

I dressed as a SCUBA diver and my sister an octopus for Halloween. We attended various activities this past week including a Harvest Festival at a local church (with all sorts of games, prizes, and crafts) as well as trick-or-treating in the dorms at Saint Martin's University.
