Papa's Birthday Weekend!

 Last weekend was Papa's birthday. We had fun helping mama decorate the house, wrap gifts, prep the homemade lasagna and German chocolate cake for the celebration.

 Our cousin, Lola, was also born on Papa's birthday (October 18th) six years ago. We had a blast celebrating her birthday on Saturday at the Children's Museum, the roller skating rink, and her grandparent's house (with pizza and cake).

Glow Run or Glow Home 5K Fun Run

We had a blast at Cornerstone's 5K Glow Run this weekend. The race started at 7 p.m. so we relied on glow sticks and flashlights to finish the course. Papa won the race overall and people were amazed that Karen (age 3) ran the entire 5K in 45 minutes. When Karen was asked if she wanted to stop and rest she said "No, Mama, I want to win!"

Star Wars Activity Night

 The Tumwater Library hosted a Star Wars family event with crafts, treats, games, a scavenger hunt, books, and photo ops.

 We made these light sabers using pool noodles and tried them out in the "balloon blaster" area!

Reunion with Mama's Leavenworth Friends

Thanks for hosting, Dani! We had such a special get-together a few weekends ago. 

 Charlie (Dani's youngest of 3 boys) showed off his "Ninja skills"!

 Abby and Kate (Megan's girls) were as cute as ever!

 Karen loved helping walk Dani's dog (Fergus) at the park near their house.
