Rieke Sibling Reunion

This was our fourth annual family reunion and we had an amazing time! Our three families shared a cabin in the Winthrop area along Patterson Lake. We enjoyed tons of swimming, paddle boarding, mountain biking on the miles of trails, countless rounds of the card game Spoons, incredible food and fellowship!

Uncle Moo has three Upper Valley Swim Championship records that are 30+ years old and he showed us that at age 38 - he's still "got it"!!

Believe it or not...Uncle Kevin actually caught this football before going under water!

Homemade Slip and Slide

 We had so much fun with this sheet of plastic Papa put on our hillside as a Slip and Slide. He even added some soap to make it extra slippery!

Swim Lessons

 Karen and Holden took an early session of swim lessons in June. It was so exciting to see the kids gain confidence and learn how to swim.

 We have been in lakes all summer having fun and practicing skills the kids learned in lessons.

 Two thumbs up!! This summer Holden went from being afraid to dunk his head under water to what we call a "little fish". It's now hard to get him above water or out of the water!

Summer Hummer

 We had a blast at Summer Hummer (our church's VBS) earlier in July. Holden was a full-day camper, Karen was a 1/2 day camper, and Mama was a group leader.

Logging Museum and More

 When visiting Grandpa Mike and Grandma Donna last month, we visited a neat logging museum, road on a mini train, went fishing, and did lots of craft projects. Thanks for all the fun memories.
