Fun with mussels

 We had seafood pasta this week and my favorite part was playing with the mussel shells after dinner.

Bug Buddies Class

We started a new class this week called Bug Buddies. We get to explore the life of bugs through arts and crafts projects, puzzles and other nature activities.

I also started a toddler puzzle class.

Last Chance Track Meet

Papa leaves for 6 days to Indiana for track & field nationals next week so we made sure to go to the final regular season track meet this weekend. Here he is talking to Laura, a senior who has qualified in the 1500 meters and steeplechase. Papa seems to integrate his roles as a coach/father quite well.

I was spoiled by the Eagles on the van ride back from Occidental College...Bryce and Rocio took turns reading me this entire book of Disney stories.

Helping with skewers

 We've been barbecuing a lot more with the recent hot weather. I loved helping mommy put veggies and seafood on these skewers!

Hide-N-Seek

 Today my brother and I had a blast hiding from our mom. This time she found us under the table.

Santa Ana Zoo with Nicole

 We had so much fun this Friday at the Santa Ana Zoo with my mama's good friend Nicole.

 A highlight was hearing Nicole share all about the Dusky Titi Monkeys (pictured in the background) that she worked with for years.

 I preferred standing rather than being in the stroller (much better view of the animals)!

 Is that a monkey or Karen up in the tree??!

 We loved all the hands-on exhibits!

 We enjoyed a wild ride in this jungle jeep!

 After the zoo we were so glad Nicole could come over and play with us!
