Karen (and Mama's) First Day of School

   Karen had her first day of kindergarten today! She was SO EXCITED!

After taking 7 years off from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom...Rachel started teaching again today (this time part-time and at the kindergarten level). Karen is excited to have Mama as a teacher as well as Mrs. Vannice (same teacher Holden had).

Kayak Adventures

We've really enjoyed exploring local lakes as well as Black River by our house this summer. Ginger likes kayaking with us too.  She usually hops off to take a dip every 10 to 15 minutes! :)

We had so much fun with friends on their boat last weekend. Papa went for a wild ride on the inner tube!

Mama hasn't been waterskiing since she was in high school on Lake Chelan with Janie. So fun!

 Today was my first day of 2nd grade!

 I was so grateful Papa was able to zip over to my school between morning xc practice and his 9 AM budget meeting to be a part of my first day.
