Inaugural Rieke/Brewer Cousin Reunion

Words and pictures only begin to describe the very special memories we made with our cousins, aunts, and uncles in early July. We shared a house in Post Falls, Idaho on the Spokane River for four days. We enjoyed relaxing in our big back yard, swimming, roasting marshmallows, soccer, pickle ball, volleyball, mountain runs, Silverwood Theme/Water Park, Fort Sherman Park along Lake Couer d' Alene, hot-tubbing, card games, sharing meals, and celebrating cousin Violet's 2nd birthday (a week early).

Uncle Kevin and Uncle Moo - big kids!

My sister stacked all these Ritz crackers and cheese slices herself and slowly but surely ate the entire thing!
Everyone watched this BIG race between uncle Moo and uncle Kevin. Facts: It is well known that Micah still holds the 8 and under butterfly record for the Upper Valley Swim League; Micah is 8 years younger than Kevin; Micah did the butterfly on the way down while Kevin did the freestyle; both did the breast stroke on the way back.
Uncle Moo later recalled that he couldn't believe Kevin was ahead at the turn-around.
To everyone's surprise, Uncle Kevin narrowly won by a few strokes.
 Until next year...

Happy Birthday, Violet! Thanks everyone for the great memories!
