First, I got their attention by dropping a few pieces of cereal from the bridge.
Then, I got to interact up close as the ducks wanted more.
Finally I had to explain "Hey, I'm all out of cereal...don't you want to just hang out"?

Kate is a big fan of ducks too! Though one time some very aggressive ducks followed us all the way to the car...Abby was pretty concerned that they were going to try to hitch a ride! :)
ReplyDeleteGood job Holden, it looks like the ducks really like you. Your Great Great Grandma had ducks in her back yard and I use to feed them. Hugs and kisses - love you lots :o)
